A rolling stone won't gather moss but a roving theater director is sure to come home with a load of ideas.

For an example take the production of Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians," playing at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha.

Some time ago, Carol Dolphin, UW-Waukesha's theater director, saw Frank Langella's "Dracula" and was struck by the production's gray and black motif. Some time later, she attended a performance of Christie's "The Hollow" at the Canadian Shaw Festival. The setting was black and gray with touches of red.
