He's been told the good news.
Something inside, though, tells Lennie Boresch not to believe what
he's heard until he has seen the hardware.
While in Hawaii two weekends ago for the National Resident Pro
Championship, Boresch was informed that he was named bowler of the
year on the Professional Bowlers Association Midwest Tour.
The Midwest Tour consists of bowlers from Wisconsin, Illinois,
Missouri, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska.
"It has been pretty much announced," said Boresch, of Kenosha.
"It was kind of a pressure release when I was told.
"I still have my doubts. Mike Shady bowled pretty well and took
fourth out in Hawaii. So I don't know if that changed ...
