Slinger's hopes for a state football title slipped away as easily as Nate Rogatzki and Chad Blahnik slipped through its tackles.

The Owls fell to Oconto Falls, 28-14, Thursday in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 3 title game at Camp Randall Stadium.

They were not only victimized by the talents of Rogatzki and Blahnik, Oconto Falls' running backs, they also hurt their cause with poor tackling.
