Article: Committee sends residential, light manufacturing proposal to council

Proposals for developing 18 single-family homes, a neighborhood park and a light manufacturing area on 36 acres bordering the municipal public works yard were recommended Monday by a city committee.

The Joint Committee on the Preparation of a Comprehensive City Plan, which includes aldermen, plan commission members, a park board member and Mayor Maricolette Walsh, will forward two recommendations to the Common Council.
