You go through high school with hardly a pimple, and now you're
out of the woods, right?
Not necessarily.
Sharon Redel, a 36-year-old financial consultant, never had bouts
with acne as a teen. But as soon as she got out of college and into
the work force, she broke out with red, blotchy patches later
diagnosed as acne.
"As a teenager, I didn't have a problem," she says. "In fact, a
friend used to tease me because I never had it. But as I got older,
the worse it became."
Why?
