Black Wolf Lodge, a Wisconsin Dells resort, is undergoing a $4
million expansion that will increase the number of rooms by 75%.
The expansion is needed to meet the demands of weekend travelers
who increasingly are visiting Wisconsin Dells year-round, said Judy
Waterman, co-owner of the resort. The resort opened in June.
"On weekends we're booked all the way into April. It's been that
way since June," Waterman said.
Many hotels in Wisconsin Dells are becoming main destination
spots, especially for families who want to take weekend trips,
Waterman said.
