The Tennessee Lady Vols are the best women's basketball team.
Ever. Everyone has been saying that except Tennessee coach Pat
Summitt.
Come on, Pat. Say it.
"I'll tell you, it's a team unlike any I've coached because of
their competitiveness, their will to win," Summitt said.
But she still wouldn't say it.
Doesn't matter.
Louisiana Tech coach Leon Barmore said it.
"We just got beat by the best women's basketball team I've ever
seen," Barmore said.
And the Lady Vols said it with a 93-75 victory over Barmore's
Lady Techsters Sunday night in the Kemper Arena for a record third
straight NCAA championship.
