Doug Rice, 56, was philosophic: "You've got to be a gracious
loser."
It was a trait Packers fans in the Milwaukee area were neither
expecting nor wishing to work on Sunday night. But as the reality
of the Packers loss to the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XXXII set
in, people seemed to be adjusting with minimal weeping and wailing.
Rice watched the game with his son, Rich, and daughter-in-law,
Chris, at one of the many bars and restaurants that make up the Water
St. nightlife area in downtown Milwaukee. "(Denver) played a very
good game," he said. "We just weren't ready for them."
Chris Rice said, "We're still behind the Pack."
But her husband grumbled that he thought the game was fixed to ...
