It never seems to fail. I'll be with fellow foodies at a charity
auction or a swanky shindig, nibbling on the finest cuisine. And
what will the conversation turn to? Macaroni and cheese.
And it certainly can become a lively topic.
"Oh, yes, homemade is the best, but Kraft is still pretty good
sometimes."
Or, "My mom used to make it from scratch with loads of sharp
Tillamook cheddar, but I prefer Cougar Gold."
Or, "Well, I made a totally cheesy, kielbasa ring bake stuffed
with mac and cheese."
It's nothing more than comfort food one-upmanship, really, but it
also shows a growing trend.
Tried-and-true old macaroni and cheese is back. You see it
