The Web is a freeloader's paradise, the ultimate source of
something for nothing. Free information. Free advice. Free
e-mail. Free Web space. Free time waste.Knock yourself out.
Indulge me one snide opinion here. Anything that is this
unrelated to traditional cost considerations provides practically no
incentive to filter out totally frivolous rubbish.
As a result, a massive chunk of the Web is a trash bin of trivial,
self-serving, abandoned Web pages that nobody is ever going to
bother to clean out or look at again. It's the exponential vanity
press nestled in the Virtual International Archives. Lint for a
lifetime.
