Article: On lightning storms, stadiums and partly sunny skies

As we experienced on Tuesday, November can produce some very big
storms with wind, rain and snow. So we should feel fortunate that
this weekend has seen some fairly nice weather across Wisconsin.
We have received some interesting questions from readers via
e-mail. One question regards the safety of open football or baseball
stadiums during lightning storms. The reader had seen a game on TV
as a big thunderstorm moved across the stadium.
Being out in the open is not safe during thunderstorms. This
especially is true if you are high up in the stadium. The prudent
thing to do is to get under shelter during the storm.
