One of them you might also recall. On this very page two Sundays back there was a story about the grand paddle wheel steamboat American Queen, the floating "six-tiered wedding cake" that is the largest steamboat ever built.

News for readers, perhaps, but deja boat for me. One day before that story from Natchez, Miss., landed on readers' doorsteps, I checked into a hotel on the Mississippi River here and found the very same American Queen docked across the street along the city's new riverwalk.
