On the same night that a wedding reception melee erupted in Brookfield, a friend of a bride in Muskego was left carrying his front tooth in his hand after allegedly being punched by the bride's godfather.

Both the godfather, a 49-year-old Mequon man, and the friend, a 28-year-old Glendale man, expressed remorse Wednesday over the violence that came Saturday at the reception for Amy Kroll and Keith Rasimus at Aud-Mar Supper Club.

"We're not uncouth people," the 49-year-old man. "It's not a situation where we decided to have a brawl at a wedding." The Glendale man who got punched said: "I didn't want that to happen. That was their day. It's unfortunate it happened." Muskego police say ...
