A brew pub and luxury apartments will be built within two vacant
buildings at the City Hall Square development, the pub operator said
Wednesday.
The Old World Brewery will be on the ground floor at 769-771 N.
Water St. and 773-777 N. Water St., said tavern operator David
Leszczynski. The 12 apartments will be on the buildings' second and
third floors.
The $2.2 million project will include underground parking,
Leszczynski said. He and his brother, Bob, operating as Stout
Bros., also run O'Danny's Pub, 1213 N. Water St., and The Oak
Barrel, 1209 N. Water St.
The 250-seat brew pub will occupy around 8,000 square feet and
will likely open by June, Leszczynski said.
