Article: Panel to review Waddick case State judicial commission, lawyer for circuit judge to suggest punishments

Washington County Circuit Judge Lawrence Waddick will get his day in court April 21 as his lawyer and the Wisconsin Judicial Commission present their cases for what type of disciplinary action should be recommended.

A panel of Madison-based appellate judges will hear the case in Madison.

The judicial commission filed a misconduct complaint against Waddick, 61, in October. The complaint alleges that Waddick committed judicial misconduct by failing to file decisions in a timely manner, falsifying monthly caseload reports and lying to the judicial commission during a previous appearance.
