I cannot count the number of times that my husband couldn't do the
"home-improvement task du jour" because he didn't have the right
tools.
Not understanding the importance of "the right tools," I would
suggest some creative way to get the task done, without a trip to
the store. My husband wouldn't hear of it.
I've stopped suggesting alternative methods, my husband's tool
collection has grown exponentially and our house-task list has
shrunk.
Working at the Pasta Grille restaurant last year when I still
lived in Racine finally gave me an appreciation for having the right
tools. The first day I worked there, Chef Steve Walton gave me the
task of chopping and cleaning 25 heads of lettuce ...
