It was a typical Good Friday evening at American Serb Memorial
Hall, with almost 4,000 people expected to drive through and walk
into the place that has become synonymous with the Friday fish fry
in Milwaukee.
And with the NATO bombing campaign in Yugoslavia raging into its
second week, general manager Bob Milkovich one of Milwaukee's most
prominent Serbian-Americans had a simple message for everyone
concerned with the crisis in Kosovo.
"We are approaching the holiest days of the year, Good Friday and
Easter," Milkovich said. "We should all pray for peace I know I
will."
