Evelyn Schulist thought Nick Triscari was a cute guy when he was a student at Milwaukee's old Lincoln High School, but he had one problem. He couldn't dance.

So, Evelyn got a friend to teach him.

And Evelyn and Nick danced happily ever after. When Nick died last Wednesday at the age of 76 of complications from knee surgery, the two had been married 52 years. In that time they jitterbugged, square danced and polkaed together, bowled together, traveled throughout the world together and played golf together. And to further cement relationships, Nick's younger sister, Lena, was married to Evelyn's older brother, George. Perhaps because of that, Nick let a little of Evelyn's Polish traditions ...
