The Joe Public Football Club -- D.C. United's opponent in a
CONCACAF Champions' Cup quarterfinal tonight at RFK Stadium -- is as
anonymous as its name suggests.
Asked what he knew about the team, United defender Jeff Agoos
said: "Well, I know they are from Trinidad {and Tobago} and that is
about it."
Added Coach Bruce Arena: "We're not too worried about who they
are. We understand that they are a team we should beat."
What is known about the team is that it was formed two years
ago by Trinidad native Jack Warner, president of CONCACAF, the
Manhattan-based umbrella organization for soccer-playing nations in
