Week 2 meant Injury 2 for New Orleans Saints rookie running back
Ricky Williams.
The Heisman Trophy winner sprained his right elbow Sunday in a
28-21 loss at San Francisco and coach Mike Ditka isn't sure when
Williams will be able to play again.
The Saints (1-1) are off this week, then play at Chicago.
Williams sprained his left ankle in the Saints' opening victory
over Carolina but ran for 80 yards in 22 carries Sunday. But he was
injured on the last play of the game when he was tackled after
catching an 8-yard pass. He tried to break the fall with his right
arm, and replays showed the arm bending backward at the elbow.
