Q: My 25-year-old nephew went to a dermatologist seeking advice
because his hair was thinning prematurely. He was put on Propecia.
Later, he had an outbreak of acne and was prescribed tetracycline.
I'm concerned about him taking these two drugs. He has been
complaining of heartburn and stomach discomfort ever since. Should he
seek a second opinion?
