The Career Snapshot is a regular feature on an occupation, told
through the experiences of someone working in the field.
THE JOB
When a physician must explain a medical procedure that hasn't been
tried yet or a lawyer needs to explain to a jury how a medical
procedure may have been botched, they go to a medical illustrator.
"Someone will come in with a concept that has to be drawn and you
have to come up with a visual way to show that concept," said
