City of Pewaukee -- Mary Peckarsky, 34, hopes her second marathon Saturday in Columbia, S.C., will be good enough to qualify her for the U.S. women's team that will compete in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia, in September.

"I'm feeling like an underdog," said Peckarsky, who ran her first and only marathon in Milwaukee in 1998.
