McDonough High School graduate Clint Sanders signed a
letter-of-intent Tuesday to play baseball at Potomac State Junior
College in Keyser, W.Va., next season with much the same attitude he
took to the plate last year for the Rams: just connect, then take it
one step at a time.
The 1998 All-Met center fielder, known more for his
consistency than his power, boasted the Southern Maryland Athletic
Conference's best batting average last spring, at .616. He
registered three home runs, 32 RBI and 34 runs scored last season.
