Hotel Astor bought by local investors
Shoreline, which had been leasing 225-room facility, paid about
$5.1 million

The 225-room Astor Hotel has been sold to a a group of local real
estate investors for about $5.1 million, a spokesman for the buyers
said Thursday.
The Astor, 924 E. Juneau Ave., was purchased by Astor Hotel LLC,
which includes Shoreline Co. owners John B. Crichton and Thomas Hauck
and their families, said attorney Richard Rakita.
The Astor was sold by Mequon-based Bach & Hiller Management Inc.
Crichton, Hauck and their partners were in the midst of a 10-year
lease of the Astor, and decided to exercise an option ...
