Hotel Astor bought by local investors

The 225-room Astor Hotel has been sold to a a group of local real estate investors for about $5.1 million, a spokesman for the buyers said Thursday.

The Astor, 924 E. Juneau Ave., was purchased by Astor Hotel LLC, which includes Shoreline Co. owners John B. Crichton and Thomas Hauck and their families, said attorney Richard Rakita.

The Astor was sold by Mequon-based Bach & Hiller Management Inc.
