Waukesha County property value outpaces cooperation

A recent report showing that Waukesha County's equalized property value is skyrocketing compared to the growth in value of its big city neighbor Milwaukee and the Milwaukee County suburbs has raised again the issue of regional cooperation.

When directed at Waukesha County, the political translation of that phrase almost always has been: You've got the money and we want it.

Many Waukesha County residents and officials still are fuming over the degree of "cooperation" with Milwaukee County that resulted in Waukesha County's inclusion in the Miller Park stadium ...
