Clash of air masses got June off to stormy start here

After the second-rainiest May on record with 8.94 inches in Milwaukee, June started with strong thunderstorms, hail, high winds, and even a tornado watch and some warnings throughout southeastern Wisconsin. This was all because of a clash of air masses as an area of low pressure moved across central Wisconsin on Thursday night.
