Macaroni and cheese making a comfortable comeback

Is there a child anywhere, of any age, who doesn't love macaroni and cheese?

Some kids go days, weeks even, eating nothing but Kraft, its neon orange a beacon guiding them to the dinner table.

Adults are generally more mac frugal, not from self-control but rather to avoid embarrassment. They conceal their addiction with high- minded things like feta cheese and olives and crumb topping made from Japanese panko bread crumbs, thinking this distances them from the crowd at the cafeteria.

It doesn't, of course. All mac-and-cheeseheads crave the same gloriously inspired pairing.
