Tradition will be lost

I was disappointed after reading the articles Aug. 9 and 10 on the proposed renovation plans for State Fair Park. It appears to me that the fairgrounds as we know them will be destroyed, rather than renovated.

Is it necessary to tear down all the small food vendor buildings that have been there for the past 40 and 50 years? They are the State Fair! People enjoy walking past these small buildings and stands while they are at the fair. I am not interested in the large buildings that the plans propose. How are those buildings going to replace the food vendors? I suspect that all the large fast-food chains will ...
