Zebra mussel larvae found in Big Cedar Lake

The larval stage of zebra mussels, no bigger than a grain of sand
and known as veligers, was detected in each of five water samples
collected last month at Big Cedar Lake.
A specialist counted densities of between 240 and 980 larvae per
