Whether you're working with trees, tile, 2-by-4s or anything
else around the house, there's a tool for the job--and the newest
among them were on display this month at the 53rd National Hardware
Show in Chicago, a trade exposition where 70,000 exhibitors and
buyers got together to pore over products you'll soon be seeing in
hardware stores and home centers.
Every type of tool and building material was packed in with a
vast assortment of housewares along 18 miles of aisles, including
the $100 Remington, limb-lopping saw--a pint-size electric-powered
chain saw with an eight-inch chain bar that looked positively
menacing mounted on the end of a 12-foot-long fiberglass pole.
