Dear Friend: Cash or credit?

My pal Jim Nicholson wrote to me the other day. Jim is chairman of
the Republican National Committee, and while I've never actually met
him, I know we're buddies because he addressed the letter: "Dear
Friend."
Where I come from, we don't use that word lightly. We don't use
"friend" lightly, either.
Anyway, Jim got right to the point: "If Al Gore is your choice to
be our nation's next president . . . please -- on your honor -- do
not open the enclosed OFFICIAL REPUBLICAN PARTY CENSUS DOCUMENT."
Jim likes to shout on paper.
Al Gore is not my choice for president, but neither is George ...
