"Daa!"
The blond, 2-year-old boy in the next booth was waving his arms at
our waitress, who lifted him out of his seat.
"I can't dance now," she told him sweetly. "I have to work. I'll
dance with you later."
She passed the toddler back to one of the three women sitting in
the booth and noticed that we'd been watching her.
"He's my brother," she said, smiling. "He's 2 and I'm 19 . . .He's
here with my mom and my aunts."
The three-man Roger Bright Polka Band -- regular performers every
weekend -- had just ended their warmup and were beginning their first
