Teamsters union executives will vote to endorse Gore today,
officials say

The Teamsters union, the most powerful union that has yet to make
a presidential endorsement, will vote today to endorse Vice President
Al Gore, several Teamster officials said Wednesday.
The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the 24-
member union executive board would vote in Washington to back Gore
despite often-expressed union anger at Gore over his support for the
China trade bill.
