UW-Waukesha working with county, local officials to build apartment-style university housing for 100

Waukesha -- Plans for an apartment-style residence hall at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha are moving ahead, and discussions with local and county officials are planned this fall, college officials said.

If the plans are successful, a residence hall with about 100 beds could be built in 2002, said Brad Stewart, campus executive officer and dean. There would be room for expansion, as the college looks for ways to attract students and keep them on campus until they finish their ...
