Plans to cut some stately old oak trees to make room for office buildings along Golf Road near I-94 and Highway 83 have upset Town of Delafield officials.

Under the developer's plans, trees would be cut on a wooded hillside for the construction of two 30,000-square-foot office buildings. Some of the trees have been there for decades, town officials said.
