Owner to convert Mill Road Theaters

Building will be transformed into retail space

The former Mill Road Theaters, which closed over a year ago, will be converted into shops and other businesses under a plan that received financing approval Monday.

Bryson Properties XII, which owns the theater building at 6530 N. 76th St., received approval for a $369,400 loan from the Milwaukee Economic Development Corp. to help finance the conversion. MEDC is a small business lending agency affiliated with the City of Milwaukee.
