Area rugs have been in vogue forever, or so it seems. Remember years ago, when we'd go out and buy a standard 9-by-12 rug to cover the linoleum floor? Well, area rugs have come a long way since.

Rugs today do a lot more than cover part of a floor. They add warmth and acoustical value. They delineate a space, bring a room together, bring life to an otherwise dull sitting area.
