Von Maur considers a store in state

An Iowa department store chain that's been described as a Midwestern version of Nordstrom's is expected to enter Wisconsin next year with a store near Madison.

Von Maur, a Davenport, Iowa-based regional chain, has been announced on the Internet as the anchor tenant for a new so-called lifestyle mall on Highway 14 in Middleton, west of N. Gammon Road. Lifestyle malls have stores clustered at the center of their sites, as well as at the perimeter, with all of them facing the parking areas.
