Subcontractors did not get paid for their work on $12 million science building, official says

Ashland -- Northland College has been served with liens totaling nearly $900,000 against its new $12 million science building from subcontractors who performed work or supplied material for the building but have not been paid.

Harold Vanselow Jr., the college's vice president of finance and administration, said Monday that the $884,275 in liens could rise to more than $1 million.
