The statistics were impressive, without question.
But should Texas Christian's LaDainian Tomlinson be the first
running back chosen in the upcoming NFL draft -- and all signs point
to that being the case -- he can thank his post-season performances
in the Senior Bowl and at the scouting combine for separating him
from the rest of this year's class.
Tomlinson has been one of the nation's most productive backs over
the last two years despite toiling in relative anonymity for the
Horned Frogs. A consensus first-team All-American, Tomlinson led the
