The statistics were impressive, without question.

But should Texas Christian's LaDainian Tomlinson be the first running back chosen in the upcoming NFL draft -- and all signs point to that being the case -- he can thank his post-season performances in the Senior Bowl and at the scouting combine for separating him from the rest of this year's class.
