Same bandit swiped donation jars from stores, police say

Kewaskum -- A criminal dubbed the "charity thief" after he or she stole coins stuffed into restaurant collection boxes for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin has struck again, this time swiping spare- change jars at five other businesses, the village's police chief said Thursday.

Most of the money taken early this week -- following incidents at two Dairy Queen restaurants last week -- was earmarked for improvements at a football stadium at Kewaskum High School, Police Chief Richard Knoebel said.
