Bucks' value increases with success

Playoff run helps make the cash registers ring

Its playoff games are sold out, fans want to buy Milwaukee Bucks jerseys and the nation's basketball fans are getting a taste of the Big Three.

And one other thing. The Milwaukee Bucks just got more valuable as a franchise.

That doesn't mean owner Herb Kohl has any interest in selling his team, which Forbes magazine estimated last year was worth $131 million.

Kohl has indicated many times that he has no plans to sell any time soon. And when the day comes, he will sell only to someone who is committed to keeping the team in Milwaukee.
