Article: Panel Endorses Tax Breaks for Satellite Maker

A committee of county supervisors yesterday recommended giving millions of dollars in tax breaks and other incentives to a Loudoun County satellite maker that is planning to expand its Dulles headquarters.

In a series of five votes, the three-member finance committee endorsed reducing personal property taxes and businesses taxes as well as paying for a traffic light and changing the building fee structure for Orbital Sciences Corp.
