Staffers leaving beleaguered caucuses

1 in 4 jobs vacant in Assembly as inquiry of activities continues

Madison -- One in four jobs in state Assembly political caucuses is vacant because of pending investigations, reports of a proposed deal that would abolish those jobs and a hiring freeze, according to an Assembly official.
