Sunday, November 11, 2001
The Wisconsin Film Festival is one of 14 film festivals around the
country to receive a grant from the Academy Foundation, the
educational and cultural arm of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts
and Sciences.
The grants, totaling $250,000, are to be used for festival
programming next year. The Wisconsin festival, a public program of
the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arts Institute, received one of
five $10,000 grants issued by the foundation.
