Winter weather alerts eventually will arrive

Although temperatures today will struggle to get out of the 30s, they will still be above normal, as the normal high temperature is 31 degrees. And don't expect our first measurable snowfall of the season over the next couple of days, as temperatures should warm on Saturday into the 40s ahead of another low-pressure system heading our way out of the southwest. Again, it appears that our main precipitation will be rain Sunday, although we may see some snow Sunday night or Monday.
