OAKLAND -- The Oakland Coliseum wasn't the safest place to be on Saturday afternoon.

Texas right fielder Carl Everett got hit on the head by a cell phone, Oakland starter Mark Mulder got hit on the arm by a line drive, four times batters got hit by pitches, and the baseball itself got pummeled hard as the A's pounded out 15 hits en route to a 12-2 win over the Rangers.

As pleasing as it was for the A's to follow a 9-0 win Friday with another blowout Saturday, the game was marred by the actions of one of the 25,792 in attendance.
