IT'S rare when something as eagerly awaited as the DVD debut of
Steven Spielberg's "Indiana Jones" trilogy actually meets its
expectations. But "The Adventures of Indiana Jones -- The Complete
DVD Movie Collection" (four discs, Paramount Home Entertainment,
$49.95, rated PG and PG-13) is even better than anticipated.
The three original films starring Harrison Ford in the title role -
- 1981's "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (renamed here as "Indiana Jones
and the Raiders of the Lost Ark"), 1984's "Indiana Jones and the
Temple of Doom" and 1989's "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" --
look and sound great on DVD. Each film was restored frame-by-frame,
digitally remastered and given a new Dolby ...
