SAN JOSE -- The Sharks season is going downhill as fast as the team's attendance, as San Jose fell to previously winless Anaheim 2- 0 at the HP Pavilion on Tuesday night.

The feeble crowd of 14,362 was the third smallest in the history of the Shark tank, with the two previous lows coming Oct.19 and Oct.26 1993 against St. Louis and Edmonton.

All hope is not lost however, as San Jose started that season with an 0-8-1 record, then recovered to finish at 33-35-16 and make the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.
